Had pain in my left foot after a fall. Broke it. Very nice nurse, doctor and xray tech.. bathroom needed attention. No paper towels or hand sanitizer. Needed hand sanitizer and kleenex in waiting room. This will be my go-to non-ER facility. Lots better than Texas Med clinic.

Scheduling was easy, I did it the night before. When I arrived, I was 2nd in line according to their link, and there didn’t seem to be many people there. Still, it took over an hour to be taken back and nearly 2 hours when all was said and done. This is my Urgent Care clinic of choice, but I’ve never seen this doctor before and it’s never taken this long in the past. Still, I would continue to use this clinic. Staff were friendly and my prescription was sent to my pharmacy promptly.

Friendly Staff

When checking in at the Texas MedClinic waiting time was lengthy, but once we were called to the back. The Medical Assistant was absolutely very Thorough has a excellent personality I would like if Esther skills were passed on to the intire team. The Doctor also was very thorough and explaining over the treatment and follow up. I diffently would recommend this facility. Just make sure and register online before arriving so it can cut down on the waiting time.

The solv system was ok but i didn't get the forms until i was in the parking lot, 10 min before the appointment.my navigation skills are not great so that took a half hour with photos. I wanted a test and I got it. Cannot complain. The paperwork and the phone/text systems should be better. Took me 4 tries to get that security code entered so I could move on.

From my phone call to say we were running late- the girl on the phone was so nice and funny:…. When we arrived all was great- they got us into a room within 30 seconds of checking in…. Nurse tested for covid - dr came and gave us horrible results but was so nice and informative! I love this place…. Other than their results…. I wasn’t a fan! But the staff is always so nice - always super impressed!

Wait time was long due to Covid tests needed. The system they used worked so well for us cause we signed in and they called us when it was our turn. We were able to do what we needed to do until it was our turn and return once it was our turn. The staff is amazing and it was a pleasant experience for us.

The staff was very kind and listened to my very immediate and acute pain and nausea. They were very professional and knowledgeable and diligently took the steps needed to find the reason, while putting my hypothesized possible reason concerns to rest via tests and scans. I am incredibly grateful for the care I received in my time of need, and I hope the staff have a safe and healthy New Year

The doctor is nice and friendly and has always been accurate. Have taken my kids here every time they’re sick and can’t get an appointment with their pediatrician or in the weekends. Office upfront has always been nice as good. The nurse is a different story, if she wants to work with kids she should be a lot nicer and friendly with them, and not so rough with them. She left my kid crying and hurt after she took a strep throat test but was too rough while taking it. Unfortunately, have seen her there several times so Thai could be a reason why I might start thinking about taking them to a different place.

I scheduled an appointment online It worked out perfectly I was going for covid testing which I suspected and I was extremely impressed on how they handled it I was concerned that that if I had it I didn't want to infect anyone they handled it appropriately I got to enter and leave through the back They of course were wearing proper PPE to protect themselves They had wonderful bedside manner not once did I feel uncomfortable I'm going to tell everyone about their professionalism and in my opinion it's the only place to use Is in these situations

There was a long wait due to the number of test requests, however it was easy to register on my cellphone and I was provided information on the wait list process. Once in it was a fast process and the technician was friendly and courteous, as were office staff. I appreciate being called with the results.

Did a curbside Covid test with my family. The lady working the phones/scheduling today was great. During an obviously busy and stressful time, she was friendly, informative, and helpful. Someone please commend her for her great demeanor throughout the day. The lady taking vitals was also very kind and considerate, asking me about my ill father as she took vitals. The doc was super friendly and quick to get to us. We had a great experience. Thank you.

The staff was absolutely amazing, and kind. The NP was great, and personable. The wait time was off putting. When I checked in, it said 0 people in front of me, but I still had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes. Once we were in the exam room, we were in and out in an hour, even with waiting on test results. Overall I was happy with the service we received, and would use them again if needed.

This is one of my favorite places to get care from but today it was terrible. All the doctor wanted, was to do a Covid test and that was the only thing that she seemed to be Interested in. She became presistent about trying to change my mind about getting my kids covid tested, after she realized I wouldn't give in she made faces and rolled her eyes at us. I felt this was terrible treatment and behavior coming from a professional doctor.

Very caring and professional attention. I was being tested for Covid and came in on a walk-in basis. Had 1 1/2 hour wait in my car before being called in. But I was warned ahead of time that it was going to be a long wait as they were busy. I was pleased with how I was treated. Very friendly staff.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Walked in with 4 kids in total…ages varying in age from 9, 6, 2, 6 months. Daycare has an outbreak 😷 for RSV. Had 2 kids showing symptoms so I went in to get them tested!!! They have an awesome staff that took great care of us. I had no diaper bag for my grandson and he had a soiled diaper and I asked the staff if they happened to have any diapers and wipes?! Well luckily they did and I was able to change my grandson. Test results came back positive in 15 minutes for RSV. So no daycare or school for the kiddos!!! Thank you Little Pediatrics for taking care of my little crew!!!

I went in for Covid test and didn’t expect for the PA to also examine me and discuss my symptoms but he did. I was pleasantly surprised and thankful. Covid test was negative but got a prescription to help my upper respiratory infection symptoms. That was above and beyond service, especially since I was only expecting a Covid test. Thank you.

My wife and I came in for a COVID rapid test. The tech was very professional and nice. After about 20 minutes, a doctor came out to the truck and explained the results. While mine came back negative, my wife tested positive which wasn’t a surprise since she had previously contracted COVID but a couple days earlier she began feeling better and her symptoms disappeared. Both of us believed we had to test negative before we could go back to work and be around other people. The doctor explained that they don’t test for COVID in people who have previously tested positive since the virus, although “incapacitated” by the antibodies, are still present in the nasal cavity which will likely remain for several weeks. So that’s why she didn’t need the test and explains why she’s been cleared to go back to work. I appreciate the doctor who spent a couple minutes to explain this simple but important point for our peace of mind as well as helping spread the word so tests aren’t wasted. I have yet to talk to a friend, family member or colleague who knew this. Why the public hasn’t been informed of this by our government appointed medical experts is beyond me. Thank you Dr!

This NP was rude and acted as if I was ignorant to the world of Covid-19. I too work in the healthcare field and she tried to educate me on the cdc guidelines. My child went in for a headache (no longer had the headache by the time we got their after I was done working) and she forced us to get a PCR test in order to be cleared for him to go back to school and of course this comes with a quarantine until the results come in. The school did not require it and my child’s headache was gone. However, she made it clear that it was okay for my other child and I not to be tested and continue our lives as normal after she explained “kids are carriers and show no signs.” Contradiction if you ask me. She handled this situation poorly, was rude and had no clue she was talking to someone else in healthcare. When I explained to her that it made no sense she walked out of the room in frustration. I am disappointed and I will make note and be sure to never go to little spurs if she is on duty. I am fully aware of the situation the world is in and I am also disappointed in the reaction from someone with the level of education she has regarding a headache. I did present the information from the school to the staff as well, she was the only individual that acted so rudely.

THE BEST! Totally un-intimidating! Entire Prestige Emergency Room team and facility is supreme! In a matter of minutes I received tests & quick, accurate diagnostics and healing RX by Dr Edward Wright, with thorough explanation of my condition and possible side effects. After reading instructions at from door I called phone number and front desk was really polite and answered my questions and gave me proper instructions to back of building. Gentleman who greeted me at backdoor and administered my Covid test was very polite and professional. P.A. Lady who came in at the end was very informational and Professional. A very class and lovely Lady. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back and I would definitely recommend to others as well.

San Antonio Lab Tests

Lab tests take samples of your blood, urine, saliva, and other bodily secretions, which are then analyzed in a lab to help doctors diagnose and treat certain illnesses. Lab tests can be used to diagnose an illness, detect changes in an existing condition, and monitor how your body responds to a therapy, among other things. They can also be used to monitor the progression of a disease or a set of diseases.

If your doctor is unable to make a definitive diagnosis of your disease, or if you are having a variety of symptoms that could indicate a variety of disorders, he or she may request a lab test. Some lab tests require no preparation at all, while others may require you to fast for eight to twelve hours before the test in order to avoid erroneous results from certain meals and beverages. Your healthcare provider may advise you to cease smoking, exercising, and taking certain medications and nutritional supplements for many hours or days before your blood test.

Before your lab test, ask your doctor for precise instructions to follow to minimize erroneous results and multiple trips to the lab for additional testing. A lab worker may use a needle to draw blood from your arm or prick your finger to collect a small sample of blood during a blood test. During a urine test, your physician will ask you to go to the restroom and urinate in a sterile cup, then set your sample on a shelf where a lab technician can pick it up and process it. The personnel at the lab testing facility will demonstrate how to do each type of test.
