Everyone was fantastic. All the children's urgent cares were full so we took my son in for a persistent fever on advice of our pediatrician. We were in and out in 20 minutes and felt like we got excellent care.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to blood or body fluids of an infected person, has had unprotected sex, shared needles, or has a mother who was infected at the time of birth should get tested for hepatitis. This also applies to individuals who have traveled to countries with high hepatitis prevalence, have been incarcerated, or have a history of drug use.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health issues if left untreated, including liver damage, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Early detection allows for prompt treatment, reducing the risk of complications and preventing the spread of the disease to others. According to the CDC, many people with hepatitis do not experience symptoms until significant liver damage has occurred, making regular testing especially important for those at risk.
