10/10.  Good people, quick service.  Fast scheduling, easy to do online.  Check-in was easy, no issue with the online option.  Staff were very friendly and accommodating.  They took great care of me and addressed my issue promptly.  I went at night but I was in and out in 25 minutes total time!

I came in one day without an appoint and waited two hours as a walk-in before I had to leave without being tested. I made an appointment through Quest Lab Testing for the next day, showed up on time, got tested easily and was on my way in 15-20 minutes. Staff is friendly and helpful.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who has been exposed to hepatitis or is at risk should get tested. This includes individuals who have shared needles, had unprotected sex, received a tattoo or piercing with unsterilized equipment, or have been in close contact with a person who has hepatitis. Furthermore, those who have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis, have a liver disease, or are pregnant should also consider getting tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health complications if left untreated, such as liver cirrhosis or liver cancer. Moreover, many people with hepatitis do not show symptoms until the disease has progressed, making it important to get tested if you are at risk. Early detection allows for better management and treatment of the disease, reducing the risk of complications.

Hepatitis testing options in Crowley, TX:

Urgent care and walk-in clinics

Urgent care and walk-in clinics, such as CityDoc Urgent Care in Fort Worth, offer hepatitis testing. These facilities are convenient as they often offer same-day or next-day appointments, which can be booked through Solv's website or mobile app.

Primary care providers

Primary care providers are another option for hepatitis testing. They can provide comprehensive care and follow-up after the test results.

Free STD testing and community health centers

Community health centers often offer free or low-cost STD testing, including for hepatitis. These centers are a valuable resource for those who may not have insurance or who are seeking affordable care.

At-home testing

At-home testing kits for hepatitis are also available. These kits offer privacy and convenience, as they allow individuals to take the test in the comfort of their own home.

Prevalence of hepatitis in Crowley

The prevalence of hepatitis in nearby counties and cities, such as Hill County and Fort Worth, can provide a general idea of the situation in Crowley. It's important to note that prevalence can vary based on many factors, including population demographics and local health initiatives.

Risk factors related to hepatitis in Crowley

Risk factors for hepatitis in Crowley are similar to those in other parts of the country. These include engaging in unprotected sex, sharing needles, having a tattoo or piercing done with unsterilized equipment, and close contact with a person who has hepatitis. Travel to countries with high rates of hepatitis is another risk factor.

Other STDs in Crowley

In addition to hepatitis, other STDs such as gonorrhea, chlamydia, HIV, and syphilis are also present in Crowley and surrounding areas. These diseases often share similar risk factors with hepatitis, making it important to get tested for all STDs if you are at risk.
