I was there for my DOT exam, however, the entire staff were quite respectful. I took me a reasonable amount of time to complete the whole process. It is my to go to clinic.

I was a walk-in so I expected a long wait but I was seen in less than an hour. The staff member at the desk helped me download all the necessary documents. I am happy to recommend AFC/Urgent Care in Rockville.

Scheduling needs improvement. A full fledged desktop or pen and paper option is needed. When cold and flu symptoms are there and you are coughing, some of us patients are not comfortable using phones or those tablets that are there, wherein on cannot even sit when entering information. That is the most inconvenient part. Please do something.

A great experience for something I had a lot of anxiety about. Had no wait time or issues at the testing center/lab. Had blood drawn at 3pm and had results by email at 9am the next morning.

Great discreet service, scheduled my visit and paid for for the test online not in Showed up at lab, checked in and was seen within minutes. Blood and urine were collected, test results came back quickly within 2 days because I did my test on a Friday. Quick, easy and cheap. Didn't have to wait for a visit to my PCP, and then get referral to lab.

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Hepatitis is a serious condition that can lead to liver disease. It's important for anyone who may have been exposed to the virus to get tested. This includes individuals who have shared needles, had unprotected sex, received a tattoo or piercing with unsterilized tools, or traveled to countries where hepatitis is common. According to the CDC, people born between 1945 and 1965, also known as baby boomers, are five times more likely to have hepatitis C and should also get tested.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial because many people do not experience symptoms until the disease has progressed, which can lead to severe liver damage. Early detection allows for prompt treatment, which can prevent the disease from progressing and reduce the risk of transmission to others. According to the CDC, testing and treatment of hepatitis C can cure over 90% of cases.
