My experience was fine in office but the billing department has inaccurately billed me for equipment and reaching the billing department to make corrections has been terrible. They do not answer their phone and you are placed on hold and nobody answers. The billing error was significant.

The online scheduling was easy with the time slot availability shown. The hour is great, open later than others in the area, avoided going to ER. I arrived & check-in was smooth & no wait. Aria looked over my wound & stitch up the cut, & the support staff was friendly & professional. I barely felt it during the process, & she periodically reminded me if too painful, she can numb more. Great facility!

I am from out of state visiting in the area. I chose this facility from reading the reviews and roughly knew the area of the location. I made an online appointment. From the moment I walked into the facility, being seen and treated, I have nothing but praise and respect for the staff as well as the care I received. I’m this day and age and just visiting with having an unfortunate reason to be seen/treated I was completely satisfied. A little more pricey than I expected but what can I say? Thank you just the same for your professionalism.

This place is a hidden gem! I always try and avoid urgent care places as it’s usually a long wait, lots of people, not the cleanest and just difficult. But here, once I arrived the check in was seamless, the staff was friendly, the office very clean. And to top it off my doctor spent so much time with me ane was kind and listened. Highly recommend!

Greeted immwdiatly when I walked thru the door and proceeded to the exam room within five minutes. The staff introduced themselves to me as soon as we met walking in the door. Katie, the physicians assistant, awesome PA!! Very knowledgeable, had great “ bedside manner.” Ask more questions about my medical history and then dealled into what she felt we needed to get into today. Truly felt comfortable with everything that happened from the time I walked through the door to the time I walked out the door. Highly highly recommend this office and staff. Thanks for a wonderful visit! Bobbie. Cantu

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

Anyone who is at risk for hepatitis should consider getting tested. This includes individuals who have been in close contact with someone diagnosed with hepatitis, those who have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis, individuals who have engaged in unprotected sex, and those who have shared needles or other drug paraphernalia. It's also important for healthcare workers and individuals with chronic liver disease to get tested, as they are at a higher risk of contracting the disease. According to the CDC, early detection can help prevent the spread of the disease and lead to better health outcomes.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to serious health complications if left untreated, including liver damage, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Early detection can help prevent these complications and allow for prompt treatment. Moreover, knowing your hepatitis status can help protect others, as the disease can be transmitted through blood and other bodily fluids.

Hepatitis testing options in Pleasanton, CA:

Urgent care and walk-in clinics

There are several urgent care and walk-in clinics in and around Pleasanton that offer hepatitis testing. For instance, Instant Urgent Care in Dublin and STAT MED Urgent Care in Livermore are both highly rated and offer same-day and next-day appointments through Solv.

Primary care providers

Your primary care provider can also conduct a hepatitis test. If you don't have a primary care provider, Solv can help you find one in Pleasanton or nearby cities like San Ramon or Fremont.

Free STD testing and community health centers

There are also community health centers in Alameda County that offer free or low-cost hepatitis testing. These centers are a great resource for those without insurance or those who prefer a more community-oriented approach to healthcare.

At-home testing

At-home testing kits for hepatitis are another option. These kits can be ordered online and used in the privacy of your own home. They provide quick results and can be a convenient option for those who prefer not to visit a healthcare facility.

Prevalence of hepatitis in Pleasanton

While specific data for Pleasanton is not readily available, Alameda County, where Pleasanton is located, has seen a steady number of hepatitis cases over the years. The prevalence of hepatitis in Alameda County is comparable to that of nearby counties like San Mateo County and Tuolumne County. However, it's important to note that the actual number of hepatitis cases might be higher as many people with the disease do not show symptoms and therefore do not get tested.

Risk factors related to hepatitis in Pleasanton

Risk factors for hepatitis in Pleasanton are similar to those in other parts of the country. These include unprotected sex, sharing needles, close contact with someone who has hepatitis, and travel to countries with high rates of the disease. Other factors that could contribute to the spread of hepatitis in Pleasanton include lack of awareness about the disease and limited access to testing and treatment.

Other STDs in Pleasanton

In addition to hepatitis, other STDs like gonorrhea, chlamydia, HIV, and syphilis are also prevalent in Pleasanton and Alameda County. As with hepatitis, early detection through testing is crucial in preventing the spread of these diseases and ensuring prompt treatment. Testing for these STDs can be done at the same locations mentioned above, and appointments can be booked through Solv.
