Everyone was very helpful. I booked the appointment the night before for 9 oโ€™clock when they open. I got right in and Dr. Emanuel came in. He was very thorough and answered all my questions and prescribe medication for me. I have been to urgent care a few times before and everyone is always so wonderful. I would recommend urgent care. I have insurance that covers everything. That was not a worry for me! I had booked my appointment the night before online.

I was very disappointed because my appointment was for an x-ray and the x-ray machine was broken and has been for some time. No one bother to let me know that it was broken so the appointment was a waste of time

About Hepatitis test

Who should get tested for hepatitis?

According to the CDC, anyone who has been exposed to hepatitis through contaminated blood, sexual contact, or shared needles should get tested. This includes individuals who have traveled to countries with high rates of hepatitis, healthcare workers, and those with a family history of liver disease. Additionally, people born between 1945 and 1965, often referred to as baby boomers, are at a higher risk and should also consider testing.

Importance of getting tested

Getting tested for hepatitis is crucial as it can lead to severe health complications if left untreated. Early detection allows for prompt treatment, reducing the risk of liver damage, cirrhosis, and liver cancer. Furthermore, knowing one's hepatitis status can help prevent the spread of the virus to others.
