Dose of amoxicillin was wrong. ย Max dose for big kid and adult is 500mg twice daily for strep throat. ย Doc gave 7ml bid for 400mg/5ml. That would have been over. ย We are a medical family so weโ€™re able to check that. ย We are now giving her 6.25 mg twice a day two equal 500 mg twice a day with liquid amoxicillin because her weight pushed her into the adult dosing schedule. ย As a medical provider, I know sometimes calculations can go awry. Consider re-checking. Our pharmacist also did not catch that. ย We know that happens sometimes. However,ย ย If your EMR does not catch that, especially consider re-checking each time. ย Appreciate you being open on Labor Day.

I had ย constant itching for 3 months from horsefly bites. They took blood, itโ€™s fine. They prescribed prednisone and an allergy medication. 2nd day on meds, some relief.

From the entrance very friendly and professional intake to seeing the doctor, everything was excellent and perfect. I had already given up getting help, was in extreme pain, and came to CityDoc Urgent Care-Uptown. I was helped right away and prescribed medicine. Both the assistant and the doctor were excellent. So very grateful.

We recently visited this urgent care for kids, and while the staff was kind and patient, the cleanliness of the facility was very concerning. The walls looked like they had mold growing on them, and the entire place just felt dirty and poorly maintained. The waiting area didnโ€™t have any blinds, so we were sitting there getting baked by the sun the whole time, which made the experience even more uncomfortable. I really hope management addresses these issues soon because the people working there were great, but the condition of the building is absolutely unacceptableโ€”especially for a place meant to care for children.

My son was exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19. I was able to book our appointment online, complete all the necessary paperwork digitally and when we arrived we waited for less than 2 minutes before we were called back. We chose to have him tested using the rapid test and we were able to wait in the room for his results. I appreciate their efficiency in our time of need.

About Celiac (Gluten) Disease Testing Panel

The Celiac Disease Testing Panel is a set of diagnostic tests used to identify Celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder triggered by the ingestion of gluten. This panel helps healthcare providers assess the presence of specific antibodies associated with Celiac disease and aids in confirming the diagnosis.

Who Should Get Tested

If you reside in Royse City, Texas, and have symptoms suggestive of Celiac disease, such as chronic gastrointestinal issues, unexplained weight loss, fatigue, or skin rashes, Celiac Disease Testing Panel is recommended. Additionally, individuals with a family history of Celiac disease or other autoimmune disorders may benefit from this testing to rule out or confirm the condition.

Tests Included in Celiac Disease Testing Panel

The Celiac Disease Testing Panel typically includes the following tests:

  1. Tissue Transglutaminase Antibody (tTG-IgA): Measures the presence of antibodies produced in response to gluten ingestion.
  2. Endomysial Antibody (EMA-IgA): Detects antibodies directed against the body's own tissues affected by gluten ingestion.
  3. Total Serum IgA: Measures the overall level of immunoglobulin A (IgA) in the blood, which helps ensure accurate antibody test results.

Interpreting the Results

If the Celiac Disease Testing Panel shows elevated levels of tTG-IgA and EMA-IgA antibodies and normal total serum IgA, it indicates a high likelihood of Celiac disease. A positive result may lead to further evaluation, including an endoscopic biopsy of the small intestine to confirm the diagnosis.

Following the Test

If the Celiac Disease Testing Panel confirms Celiac disease, your healthcare provider will discuss dietary modifications to eliminate gluten from your diet. Gluten-free diets are essential for managing Celiac disease and preventing complications related to gluten consumption.

Early detection and proper management of Celiac disease through the Celiac Disease Testing Panel can lead to improved quality of life and prevent long-term health issues associated with gluten ingestion.
