A CMP blood test looks for 14 different compounds in your blood to help you and your doctor figure out if you have one or more major health issues. This test can assess your liver and kidney function as well as give information about your protein, calcium, and blood sugar levels. I have been to this facility a few times when I have had to take my child in times when her Pediatrician was away. They have taken care of her and even given me a referral so that I may take her to a specialist to further evaluate her. It's not very far from my home at all. I'm glad they are also available after my child gets out of school, since her pediatrican's last appt. is at 3:30, I have time to go to Metro-UrgiCare and feel reassured.
