I had a wonderful experience, the staff was very courteous and efficient. The two receptionist set the tone for a very pleasant visit. The wait time wasn’t very long, I was in seen and out the before I knew it. I will definitely be using them again. I highly recommend UAB Medicine Urgent Care

I have been here numerous times and each time I was able to walk straight in and they immediately started taking care of me. The staff was very friendly and prompt with everything they were doing.

I love Dr.Jernigan, he’s a very patient and open minded doctor and I absolutely love how honest he is. The only thing they can possibly work on his staff friendliness, front desk mainly.

I see a lot of patients complaining about the wait time but you have to understand that since Covid hit they are understaffed and get no lunch breaks. They are doing the best they can under the circumstances. The wait may be long but once you are called you get the best care possible. I highly recommend Sun Coast.

On yesterday, 9/20, I visited this urgent care clinic after not being able to be seen by my PCP. I googled and found this wonderful urgent care and was delighted that it was really close in my neighborhood. Upon entering the clinic, I was greeted by one of the sweetest front office staff I have ever met. Her name was Patti and she deserves all the accolades that she gets. She quickly took care of getting my insurance and getting me signed in and explained the process thoroughly. Throughout the whole entire visit she was extremely nice and even at the end of my visit she said “I hope that you feel better” as I was walking out. The nurses that took my vital signs as well as my samples that needed to be tested were thorough and explained the process as they were doing it. They were also kind. The nurse practitioner that saw me was efficient as well as kind. The facility is very clean and modern. I really like the fact that they use a lot of electronic services which allows you to have your test results and prescriptions on your phone and decreases the amount of paperwork that you carry around. Overall I had a great experience and I am very familiar with the healthcare field as I myself am a nurse practitioner so for me to say that I’m pleased means a lot. This place can also serve as your primary care office, which I am strongly considering changing over from my PCP to this place. If I ever had to go to urgent care again or bring my children I will immediately come here. If you live in the Chelsea area, this is the place to go if you need urgent care services.

Dr Parsa & his team of angels are a God send for hard working people on a budget or uninsured, in my case both. I had a horrible painful rash of blisters pop up out of nowhere, St Vincent emergency room sent me away with a $330 bill & a misdiagnosis of poison oak. Within a few hrs I noticed a difference. I spent 1/3 of the money charged by emergency rm,was treated with dignity & compassion & most importantly properly diagnosed. They actually care about the community & are there to help heal & comfort you not overcharge & shove you out the door. Quick Cares entire team is outstanding! They have a patient for life!
